As a Post BA student, expect this program to take 3 semesters, with some variability in your individual program due to previous backgrounds and previously earned credit.

*CSD 1000 Understanding Com Dis (for Spring start) or CSD 4150 Developmental Neurological Disorders (for Fall start) is waived for 2nd BA students

*Two of the following courses may be taken as graduate electives: CSD 3900/5900 Aural Rehabilitation, CSD 4100/5100 Augmentative Communication, CSD3700/5700 Communication Disorders & Differences Across the Lifespan

*Students with a strong GPA in their first degree, only need two semesters of pre-requisite courses and do not need to complete the third semester.

For the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), students also need a course in Statistics (eg. Statistics STAT 1772), a course in Biology, and a course in Physical Sciences (must be Chemistry or Physics). Many students meet these requirements through their 1st Bachelor's degree. if you have not taken a statistics course as an undergraduate, you will need to take it for Communication Sciences and Disorders.
